‘Empire’ Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed

A long-awaited Second season of American musical drama “Empire” Came to an end on May 18, 2016, and its finale has got over 10.88 million viewers.

Undoubtedly, millions of fans are eager to figure out what should be expected in “Empire” season 3 on FOX, and when it’s going to be released? Fortunately, in January 2015, FOX has picked up “Empire” for a third Season. On June 16, FOX has published its TV lineup for this fall. According to the schedule, Empire” season 3 is set to be premiered on Wednesday 21, September, 2016 on FOX.


Empire is an American drama Television series that goes after the life of a former drug dealer (Terrence Howard) turned hip-hop tycoon. Created by Danny Strong and Lee Daniels for Fox, the series stars Terrence Howard (Lucious) and Taraji P. Henson (Cookie). The second season premiered on 23 of September, 2015 and consists of 18 episodes.

Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) is a former drug dealer who becomes a hip-hop artiste and Chief Executive Officer of Empire Entertainment. His three sons, Hakeem, Lyon and Jamal assist him in running the business. Just when everything seems to be going perfectly, Lucious learns that he has Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and will be incapacitated in 3 years. The shocking news prompt him to begin thinking of who will take over  the business when he himself no longer can, and it is the exact time when Lucious’ ex-wife Cookie is released from Jail, where she served jail term on drug-related charges. Cookie believes that Lucious owes her, as it was he who introduced into drug-dealing and later used the drug money to build his business empire.
