Rapper, Jude MI Abaga, says Nigerian celebrities including 2baba Idibia have the right to demand good governance from the federal government.
In a series of tweets, Mr Incredible, as he is fondly called, said he worked with 2baba in 2011 on a non-partisan project to get Nigerian youths to vote in the general election.
MI said if celebrities could support politicians to get into office, they possess the same right to complain when they underperform.
“The election where good luck was elected…both 2baba and I were involved in NON partisan movements to get youths to vote,”
“This last election, Tuface organised a movement for peaceful voting across the country. Celebs have chosen to support candidates as it’s their right to do…it is also their right to demand better from their elected officers”.
