Ahmad Ahmad Of Madagascar Is Elected As CAF President

Ahmad Ahmad of Madagascar has emerged the new president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after defeating Issa Hayatou.

Ahmad Ahmad defeated incumbent Issa Hayatou of Cameroun by 34 to 20 votes at the election currently holding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Issa Hayatou, who has been in charge at CAF for 29 years, was seeking an 8th term.
