Borno Govt. Bans The Sales Of Charcoal, Firewood And Alcohol

The Borno State Government has banned the sale of alcohol, Charcoal and firewood in the state with effect from Friday, January 20, 2017.

Also banned are brothels and spots where illicit drugs are sold and consumed except for military and para military formations.

Other activities banned are:

  • Patent medicine stores
    • Use of wrong plate number or unregistered vehicles
    • Baby factories
    • Illicit drugs
    • Sales of alcohol
    • Brothels
    • Charcoal and firewood
    • Use of shanties and illegal structures
    • Illegal operator of motor parks
