Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata will reportedly be offered four-year new deal at old Trafford after impressing manager Jose Mourinho.
The spain international was expected to make away in the summer following the arrival of Jose Mourinho, who off-loaded Mata to Man-united when in charge of Chelsea in 2014.
Mata has been given a chance to shine this term, however, and has since overthrown skipper Wayne Rooney from the team in his preferred position just off the leading striker.
According to the Mirror, the 28-year-old whose contract is due to expire next summer will now sign a new 4-year deal with the red devils in the coming weeks.
Full-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah is also understood to be in line for fresh terms at the Old Trafford, despite his Premier League this season.
