South East Governors Meet In Enugu For Nnamdi Kanu’s Release

There seems to light approaching the tunnel to the leader of The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu in his incarceration as south east governors unite for the first time in an intense talk for his release.

The governors equally approved the constitution of two representatives per state for the South East Economic Committee that would immediately meet and fashion out a road map towards the economic integration of the region that will be presented at their next meeting.

The meeting was attended by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State (host), Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State and Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State while the Chairman of the Forum announced that the Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu had a delayed flight in Lagos and could not meet up with the meeting.
