Nollywood is set to bury one of its own veteran actress, Toyin Majekodunmi, who died after a brief battle with diabetes on Monday, January 2, 2017.
Mama Kike, as she was popularly known, will be buried on Thursday and Friday, March 2-3, 2017.
The Yoruba arm of the movie industry, to this effect, has set up a committee to oversee the burial arrangement.
The Members of the committee, colleagues of the late actress include:
Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje), Taiwo Oduola ( Alabon), Taiwo Akinwande ( Wunmi), Toyosi Adesanya, Sola Kosoko, Wale Hassan (Iya Awero son), Kike Majekodunmi, Yomi Fabiyi, Keji Yusuf, Shina Bankole, Dotun Emmanuel (Ayoka) and Debo Alexander (Gov, Tampan Lagos).
The burial committee will be chaired by a movie producer, Yomi Fabiyi.
Toyin Majekodunmi died “after a brief battle with diabetes” at the age of 60 and was married to Solomon Majekodunmi, another veteran actor, popularly known as ‘baba kekere’.
